What AirAgora is designed to do
AirAgora compares complete modeled air-quality forecast windows for a selected location and explains whether one practical period has a meaningfully lower deterministic severity than the alternatives. The answer includes the named OpenWeather 1–5 scale, source, update time, main pollutant context, completeness, and caution.
It is an informational planning service, not a medical device, emergency channel, official station network, school policy, or guarantee that a person will be safe outdoors.
How the public site and app fit together
The public site contains the anonymous city search, teaser, email-gated result, 2,500 factual city pages per language, tools, guides, direct answers, pricing, and legal information. The app host contains passwordless authentication, saved locations, profiles, planner, history, alerts, settings, and billing.
Public marketing pages are available for search indexing after launch approval. App, auth, result, account, billing, settings, alerts, locations, API, and 404 routes remain permanently noindex.
Where the data and city facts come from
Production air-quality data comes through the official OpenWeather API with visible attribution. City metadata comes from the GeoNames cities15000 export under CC BY 4.0 and is selected by a deterministic population/ID pipeline.
AirAgora preserves the provider’s 1–5 scale for display and separates it from concentration-band severity, window scoring, tie and meaningful-change rules, main-pollutant selection, caching, and translation.
What email, accounts, and Premium add
Email capture reveals the complete requested result and can send a deep link. Marketing consent is a separate unchecked option. A scanner-safe passwordless claim is used only when the visitor saves state or signs in.
Free accounts provide one location/profile, a 24-hour planner, seven-day history, and a basic alert. Premium adds five locations/profiles, 72 hours, accumulated history, custom thresholds, change directions, and quiet hours.
How AirAgora handles trust and failure
Missing OPENWEATHER_API_KEY, unexpected hosts, invalid payloads, expired cache, email failure, and Stripe mismatches are not converted into success. Production never substitutes fixtures, scraping, or another provider. Alert delivery failures remain failures.
Public payloads omit exact coordinates, raw email, private profile labels, selected windows, hourly details, and raw tokens where those facts are not needed. One-time and session tokens are stored only as SHA-256 hashes.

What does AirAgora recommend?
The lowest deterministic complete two-hour window relative to the available modeled forecast, or similar/all-poor/insufficient states when a precise winner would mislead.
Is the recommendation medical advice?
No. It is informational planning and cannot assess individual symptoms, conditions, or treatment.
Which scale is used?
The official OpenWeather air-pollution scale from 1 to 5. AirAgora never relabels it as U.S., European, or local regulatory AQI.
Are the values measured at a station?
No. AirAgora labels the OpenWeather air-pollution forecast as modeled.
Why do I need email for the full result?
The product uses a low-friction email reveal and deep link; marketing remains separate and optional.
Do I need a password?
No. Account access uses scanner-safe, hashed, single-use magic links and secure sessions.
What is free?
Public content/tools plus one saved location/profile, 24-hour planning, seven-day history, and a basic alert after verification.
What does Premium add?
Five locations/profiles, 72-hour planning, accumulated history, richer thresholds/directions, quiet hours, and more automation.
Can alert delivery fail?
Yes. Provider and email failures are logged honestly; alerts do not replace official channels.
Does AirAgora sell my data?
No. See the privacy policy for collected fields, vendors, retention, export, and deletion.
Is there a school product?
Schools remain a discovery waitlist. AirAgora does not yet sell a closure policy or school-site monitoring service.
Which pages can search engines index?
Public marketing, city, tool, guide, direct-answer, pricing, and legal pages are indexable. Private app, auth, result, account, billing, settings, alert, location, API, and 404 routes remain noindex.
