School-run air quality: compare morning and afternoon city windows

This tool can compare broad modeled conditions around school-travel periods. It is not a school closure service, a child-specific health recommendation, or a substitute for public authority and school instructions.

01

What the school-run tool can compare

After a city is selected, AirAgora applies the same complete-window scoring used elsewhere and can focus the interface on practical morning or afternoon periods. The environmental order remains deterministic and independent of language.

The result identifies the named AQI, category, main pollutant component, source timestamp, modeled status, and caution. It does not know the school, route, classroom ventilation, transport mode, or individual student context.

02

Why a city grid is not a school-gate sensor

Modeled OpenWeather forecasts cover broad cells. A school entrance beside a road, a bus cabin, a playground, an indoor corridor, or a neighborhood on different terrain can diverge from the city coordinate.

AirAgora does not infer those local conditions from a city name. A future school product would need explicit institutional data, permissions, alert ownership, and a separate evidence review.

03

Sensitive-group language without diagnosis

Public AQI systems include categories or activity guidance that mention sensitive groups. AirAgora can present cautious, plain-language context, but it does not identify whether a child belongs to a medical category or prescribe an action.

Families should use instructions from the relevant school, public-health authority, and clinician where applicable. The WHO guideline context supports avoiding universal-safe claims.

04

Severe conditions remain public

If every complete period is elevated, the result uses least-polluted language and keeps broad concern visible. A lower-ranked morning or afternoon does not override a school closure, smoke emergency, or official instruction.

AirAgora will not charge for access to severe-condition caution. Premium may automate multiple saved locations or thresholds, but urgent public guidance and source limitations remain visible to everyone.

05

Privacy and account boundaries

The public tool asks for a city and activity context, not a child’s name, school, medical record, or exact routine. Marketing consent is separate and unchecked. Public analytics avoid raw email and exact coordinates.

A verified account can save a generic location and profile label. Notification logs omit exact latitude and private profile labels. Account export and deletion controls remain available from settings.

  • Use a city comparison, not a school-specific measurement.
  • Check school and authority notices.
  • Do not enter a child’s health details.
  • Read the source time and modeled limitation.
  • Treat all-poor language as caution, not approval.

Direct answers

Frequently asked questions

Does AirAgora know conditions at a particular school?

No. It compares a broad modeled city coordinate and does not claim a school-gate measurement.

Can AirAgora tell me whether a child should attend school?

No. Attendance and health decisions belong to families, schools, clinicians, and public authorities.

What if morning and afternoon are both poor?

The product can name the least polluted complete period while clearly stating that conditions remain elevated.

Is severe-event guidance paid?

No. Public caution and links to official guidance are not Premium-only.

Does the tool collect a child’s information?

No. The public tool needs a city and optional activity context, not a child name, school, or medical details.

Can a family save multiple school locations?

Free accounts have one saved location; Premium supports up to five, enforced server-side.
